P&O Cruises has launched a fun, interactive portal allowing guests to take control of their cruise from the moment they log in. 

The newly released Cruise Control website replaces the online cruise personaliser and taps into the cruising state of mind with a host of new features helping to build the excitement of a cruise holiday.

The website offerings include enhanced social media interaction, a cruise countdown and optimised tablet access.

Senior Vice President P&O Cruises Tammy Marshall said Cruise Control was the result of a massive project matching passenger feedback with the latest in online technology.

* Interactive cruise planner – enabling guests to create their own cruise holiday schedules initially with access to Shore Tours

* Mobile and tablet optimised – guests can now access Cruise Control irrespective of their device

* Registering dietary requirements – a Cruise Control first, allowing guests to register any special dietary requirements prior to their cruise
