CARNIVAL AUSTRALIA HAILS TOP HONOURS FOR THREE OF IT'S BRANDS IN CRUISE PASSENGER MAGAZINE'S READER'S CHOICE AWARDS.

Carnival Australia Hails Top Honours for Three of its Brands in Cruise Passenger Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards

Carnival Australia CEO Ann Sherry has welcomed Cruise Passenger magazine’s prestigious Readers’ Choice Awards in which three of the company’s cruise brands – P&O Cruises, Seabourn and Cunard – won separate awards for excellence.

Ms Sherry described the awards as confirmation of the strength of Carnival Australia’s multi-brand approach, with the very best in cruising catering for the widest possible range of market segments with unprecedented choice of ships, onboard features and itineraries.

“Representing most of the cruise ships that sail in our waters full time, seasonally or on world voyages, Carnival Australia takes great pride in being able to offer something for everyone in providing for their cruise holiday choices,” Ms Sherry said.

“Top honours for three separate Carnival Australia cruise brands is all the more special because they reflect the views of Cruise Passenger magazine’s readers who have experienced the onboard product and recognised the commitment to quality and excellent service.

“The awards are a tribute to our local and international teams and their efforts to make a cruise holiday on our ships a memorable experience.”

Carnival Australia brand ships won top honours in the following categories:

* Best Luxury Cruise Line – Seabourn, a fitting accolade to mark 25 years of luxury cruising as an increasing number of Australians discover the essence of ultra-luxury at sea

* Best Luxury Cruise Ship – Seabourn Pride, a 280-passenger ship personifying Seabourn’s proud reputation for luxury cruising with a club-like ambience and award-winning cuisine

* Best Premium Cruise Line – Cunard Line, with onboard service usually found in the world’s deluxe hotels delivered in a way that has impressed Australian cruise travellers

* Best Premium Cruise Ship – Queen Mary 2, a favourite with Australian cruise travellers and the second consecutive year in which the Cunard flagship has been the category winner

* Best Mid-range Cruise Line – P&O Cruises, confirming its special place in the hearts of Australians highlighted by new destinations such as Papua New Guinea and features such as the P&OEdge adventure park.
